Scott Grierson
Scott Grierson is a sustainable development professional with a breadth of operational and research experience. He has a background in infrastructure engineering, and has worked in the energy, resource, manufacturing, government, not-for-profit, finance and education sectors.
Scott was formerly a Director and later, Chairman of The Natural Step in Australia and is currently a part-time PhD candidate in the Faculty of Science at Macquarie University. Scott has a focus on strategic planning, facilitation and vision building, education for sustainability (EfS), systems dynamics and sustainable product development, with a research focus on biomass technology and strategic life cycle assessment. He is currently the Chief Technology Manager - Research and Development for algae biotechnology company, MBD Energy Ltd.
