Donna Denyer
Researcher and Educator
Donna has over 15 years experience working in adult education and training, community engagement and environment, both in the United Kingdom and Australia. This has included working with local councils on community engagement for sustainability, delivering community workshops and evaluating the effectiveness of sustainability education projects. She has developed and delivered a range of training materials for adult and tertiary education and is particularly interested in using innovative methods to engage people in sustainability and education projects.
Donna gained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honours (First Class) in Landscape Design and Plant Science from the University of Sheffield, UK, followed by a Master of Arts (MA) in Landscape Design. She also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Careers Guidance from University of Glamorgan, UK.
Donna's recent projects for ARIES include researching and writing an international online course in engaging communities for natural resource managers. She has also recently delivered a sustainability leadership course to managers and emerging leaders in local government.
