Patrick Crittenden has a professional background in organisational change and business strategy that he has applied over the past 15 years to the issues of energy efficiency, climate change and corporate sustainability. He combines detailed knowledge of government legislation with facilitation skills to work with companies and government to deliver change interventions, interactive training, briefings and workshops to achieve specific outcomes including the development of integrated climate change response strategies.
Patrick has a strong understanding of current and emerging government legislation associated with climate change including the proposed Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme, National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act and Energy Efficiency Opportunities Act. Recent projects include the development of a climate change strategy for a large mining company, stakeholder consultation and surveys for the development of a Long Term Training Strategy for the Development of Energy Efficiency Assessment Skills for the federal government, and the facilitation of workshops for Indigenous organisations on the opportunities presented by current and emerging carbon markets.
