Strategies to assist academics from a range of faculties to incorporate energy efficiency and renewable energy into their teaching activities
The NSW Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water (DECCW), in partnership with the NSW Department of Education and Training, manages an Energy Efficiency Training Program which aims to develop the skills, and grow the number, of energy efficient tradespeople and professionals to support improved energy efficiency practices, products and services in industry, government and the community.
To support this program, ARIES was commissioned to conduct research to determine how DECCW can best assist academics from a range of faculties to incorporate energy efficiency and renewable energy into their teaching activities.
This project contributes to a greater understanding of both the challenges and opportunities to increase the uptake of energy efficiency and renewable energy teaching and learning across a range of faculties in NSW universities.
