As Director of ARIES, Louise manages its strategic direction, the development of new projects, submissions for funding, liaison with stakeholders, coordination of the ARIES team, production of reports and the financial management of the institute.

 

Louise has spent 12 years working in the field of organisational psychology and leader coaching. She is the Academic Director of ARIES, Director of Pax Leader Labs, and teacher at the Australian College of Applied Psychology. She began her career in employment assistance, counselling and national healthy behavior change research. Her work as an internal consultant at the University of Newcastle creating leadership instruments was recognised for its groundbreaking technique in 2001 by the Australian Psychological Society. Since then Louise has worked with a number of major and smaller commercial consulting organisations in change management, employee engagement, leadership development and leader coaching. She has lectured in organisational behaviour at UTS, the University of Newcastle and Macquarie University and is currently completing a PhD in Leadership for Sustainable Organisations while running her own fast growing leadership assessment and coaching consultancy. Louise has been described as "One of the top 100 Sustainability Leaders in the World" (ABC Carbon, 2011).
