Dr Robert Perey
Researcher and Educator
Robert has a background in organisational change and development. Graduating with a BA in Ancient History from the University of Western Australia facilitated his entry into the information management and technology industry, which niggled his curiosity for understanding the relationship between organisational change and design.
This curiosity stimulated further studies and an MA in Complexity Theory from the University of Western Sydney. Robert is now undertaking a PhD investigating how organisations are engaging in change for sustainability.
In recent years Robert’s consultancy and research work has focused on sustainability topics. He has worked on projects ranging through biodiversity awareness in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities (CALD); sustainability case study development for inclusion in MBA programs; and assisting a large Not for Profit Organisation design and integrate sustainability into its strategy and operations.
In his research and consultancy work Robert is particularly interested in the relationships between sense-making, narrative, decision-making and change.
