Water saving messages to CALD communities
The NSW Department of Water and Energy (now the NSW Office of Water) and the Ethnic Communities Council of NSW had conducted a water savings project with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities in NSW over several years. It was time to review the effectiveness of the engagement mechanisms used in order to identify and inform further initiatives aimed at reducing water consumption in these communities.
In 2009 ARIES was commissioned by the Ethnic Communities Council of NSW to identify the perspective on best practice of the bilingual educators, and submit a private report on our findings.
